Summer Reading Program

The library offers two summer programs for young people.

Story Hour

The theme this summer is "ON YOUR MARK, GET SET --- READ".

The reader will be Sandra Enyard and the activities director will be Sierra Hutchinson.

Story hour will be held each Wednesday on June 1,8,15,22,and 29. Times are from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Suggested ages for story hour are 3 to 8 years old.

Stories will be read about being healthy and active, sports, and animal movements. .

Activities will range from "chasing the dragon" to scavenger hunts.

Summer Reading Program

The summer reading program will begin on June 1 and end on June 29. Even non-readers can participate by having parents, babysitters or older siblings read to them.

To participate, sign up at the library any day beginning on June 1. Books should be checked out from the library and must be in your reading group.

Prizes will be given for each five books read.
